Our business is one which takes a professional level of responsibility in taking ownership of a property and nurturing it as if it was our own. We are not just a scheduled service provider. We look at adding value and improvement over time which in turn adds intrinsic value to the property and a greater level of return to the owner and or tenant.

Landscape Maintenance

Landscape maintenance is the art and vocation of keeping a garden, park or yard healthy, clean, safe and attractive.  By using the right tools, supplies, knowledge, physical exertion and skills, our horticulturists  plan and carry out annual plantings ,  weeding and fertilizing, other gardening, lawn care, driveway and path maintenance, shrub pruning, topiary, lighting, fencing and reticulation, and other jobs for protecting and improving the soil, lawn and plants.

Lawn Care

At GreenworX we pride ourselves on how we lay and maintain "our" lawns. The initial establishment of a lawn is all about soil preparation and the selection of the best grass type based on location, shading and watering requirements. Maintaining a healthy lawn is about regular mowing with the correct type of mower at the right cutting height; ensuring even reticulation coverage and applying the appropriate amount of fertiliser and surfactant at the right times of the year.

Plant Care

Best horticultural practice has many aspects, however a good soil is the key. Plant care starts with improving the structure and moisture holding capacity of the soil, by adding  organic material, trace elements and using a quality wetting agent. It is also important to use a good quality, weed free mulch; spreading it evenly to the appropriate depth ensures good water retention and protects the plant roots by keeping the soil cool.

Weed and Pest Control

The best defence against pest and disease is a healthy plant. This is achieved by having good soil and the appropriate frequency of watering and fertilising. Before application of any treatment it is crucial to accurately identify the pest or disease; as well as determine if any course of action other than monitoring is required. If treatment is indicated we are registered to safely administer poisons. For weed removal we frequently just  use steam or high pressure water cleaners.
